IT Business Relationship Manager

Salary: $123000 - 247000 per year Requirements: We require a bachelors degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a closely related discipline. We need 8–10 years of IT experience in a mid- to large-scale multinational life sciences environment. We are looking for proven expertise in IT business relationship management, strategic planning, and portfolio oversight. We require demonstrated leadership experience guiding cross-functional teams and/or complex programs. We need strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle, including security and data privacy considerations. We require experience working in regulated settings such as GxP, CSV/CSA, and 21 CFR Part 11. We expect excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and influencing skills, including with senior leadership. We need strong organizational capability to manage several initiatives at the same time. We require experience managing vendors and external collaborators. Preferred: an advanced degree such as an MBA or MS in a relevant field. Preferred: experience supporting Quality and/or Regulatory functions in life sciences. Preferred: Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent process improvement background. Preferred: familiarity with IT control frameworks and data privacy regulations. Preferred: experience leading digital transformation or deploying enterprise systems in regulated environments. Responsibilities: We serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders by translating business strategy into an aligned IT roadmap and prioritized portfolio. We partner with Quality, Regulatory, and Technical Services teams to advance critical systems such as eQMS, CAPA, PLM, audit readiness, regulatory submissions, and compliance training. We lead demand intake, portfolio governance, and investment planning aligned to business priorities and regulatory commitments. We ensure IT solutions satisfy regulatory, validation, data privacy, and compliance requirements, including 21 CFR Part 11, ISO 13485, and GxP. We collaborate with IT delivery, platform, and support teams to execute initiatives and deliver business value. We build and sustain strong relationships across business stakeholders, IT partners, and external vendors. We oversee program execution, including scope, schedule, budget, risk management, and escalation handling. We drive process enhancements through scalable, compliant technology solutions across global cross-functional teams. We maintain governance and lifecycle controls for regulated systems, including validation, change control, and inspection readiness. We manage IT budgets, capital spend, and return on investment while improving resource efficiency. We champion innovation by encouraging emerging technologies and continuous improvement efforts.
