Senior Forward Deployed Engineer I (AI/ML)

📋 Description Partner with strategic ANEs to deploy and scale production AI on DO's AI-Native Cloud. Architect, deploy, and optimize inference/runtime AI workloads across multi-node platforms. Validate AI-native platform capabilities under real workloads; surface gaps to teams. Build scalable deployment assets: benchmarking systems, automation tooling, and playbooks. Collaborate with GPU vendors, model providers, and ISVs to drive adoption. Travel up to 30% for customer engagements; align with NA business hours. 🎯 Requirements 4+ years in Forward Deployed Engineering or similar customer-facing AI roles. Hands-on with inference frameworks (vLLM, Ray Serve, etc.) and LLM optimizations. Distributed systems and GPU infra mastery: CUDA, ROCm, TensorRT, Triton. Strong proficiency with Kubernetes, IaC, and large-scale AI infra architectures. Production coding in Python or Go; tooling, automation, deployment workflows.
