Senior ETL Engineer

We are seeking an experienced ETL Engineer experienced in traditional data management and extraction models using OLAP cubes to maintain and optimize existing logical models containing a fixed number of sources. As an ETL Engineer, you'll address real-world business challenges related to maintaining the ETL model and delivering information to stakeholders.

Project scope:
– Design, develop, and maintain analytical solutions, ETL processes, and data pipelines using the SSIS platform, MDX, SQL, and OLAP cubes
– Create and maintain semantic models and analytical datasets
– Develop interactive reports based on business requirements
– Optimize existing data models to ensure performance, scalability, and data accuracy
– Analyze business requirements and investigate root causes of data-related issues
– Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into effective technical solutions
– Maintain and update technical documentation, data models, and solution designs
Competence demands:
– Min. 5 years of professional experience in BI/data/SQL programming
– Hands-on experience with SSIS and OLAP cubes
– Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases (SQL Server)
– Practical experience with MDX optimization techniques
– Excellent analytical skills
– Experience with Power BI, Fabric, Azure Synapse/Azure Data Lake is a plus
– Experience in consulting or working with clients is a plus
– Ability to understand business needs and propose effective technical solutions
– Good knowledge of Polish and English
