Senior Data Scientist

Salary: $30,000 - 55,000 per year Requirements: At least 2 years of experience in a data science role. Hands-on experience using AI tools and applying AI techniques. Ability to turn plain-language requests into data-rich responses. Comfortable presenting to small groups and summarizing information for broader audiences; a proactive, can-do attitude. Bachelors degree in computer science or at least 5 years of equivalent work experience. 4–5 years of related experience; experience in securities or financial services is a plus. Responsibilities: Identify and implement opportunities to apply automation and AI across the Evergreen space, including building stakeholder agents, improving anomaly detection and data quality, and generating predictive insights for assets approaching end of life. Support what-if data modeling and reporting for regulatory, audit, and ad hoc requests. Define requirements and partner with the development team to create insight-focused dashboards and reports. Lead scheduled reviews with Platform and Line of Business Resiliency teams, assessing Evergreen positions and recommending actions to remain within risk tolerances. Analyze and address systems, applications, software, and hardware that do not comply with corporate policies and procedures; help ensure ongoing compliance. Collaborate with vendors, internal teams, and business partners on large infrastructure engineering projects. Contribute to project planning, recommend processes, develop detailed plans, monitor progress, and report status to management. Document design, build, and standard operating procedures, and maintain or lead related processes. Work with Application Development, Quality Assurance, Testing, and Business teams to assess infrastructure needs throughout planning, design, development, and testing. Evaluate existing infrastructure, research technology trends, and implement improvements to its reliability and efficiency. Perform basic production support, identify process improvement and automation opportunities, and contribute to area objectives.
