Senior Data Engineer/Architect, ML

Salary: $149000 - 149000 per year Requirements: We require a bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or an equivalent background. We need at least 5 years of experience with databases such as SQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, or Kinesis. We require hands-on experience with SQL, Python, schema design, and software engineering best practices, including secure, testable, and maintainable code. We expect an understanding of distributed systems, data integration approaches such as ETL and federation, database tuning methods like partitioning and indexing, and relational performance optimization. We require an active U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance or higher. We require U.S. citizenship and the ability to maintain an active Top Secret clearance. Responsibilities: We help clarify customer business outcomes during discovery and translate them into data architecture and engineering solutions. We design and build secure, scalable, reliable, high-performing, and cost-efficient data analytics applications. We collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, evaluate current infrastructure, and recommend data migration and modernization strategies. We identify, reduce, and communicate risks tied to solution and service limitations by making sound technical trade-offs. We act as trusted advisors on industry trends, emerging data technologies, and innovative approaches. We share expertise through mentoring, training, and the creation of reusable assets.
