Machine Learning Engineer, Data & ML

Salary: $155000 - 155000 per year Requirements: We require that you are a U.S. citizen and currently hold, and continue to maintain, an active Top Secret security clearance. We require a bachelors degree or higher in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM). We require experience in professional software engineering and full software development life cycle best practices, including coding standards, software architecture, code reviews, source control, continuous deployment, testing, and operational excellence. We require at least 3 years of experience with machine learning, statistical modeling, data analysis tools, and related techniques. We require an active U.S. Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above. A masters degree or higher in STEM is preferred. Experience on cross-functional, multi-team initiatives is preferred. Experience using quantitative analysis to address business challenges and support data-driven decisions is preferred. Experience defining and building benchmarks to evaluate GenAI model performance is preferred. Experience with Python, SQL/NoSQL, and API development for AI/ML solution delivery is preferred. Experience with large language models, prompt engineering, and generative AI frameworks is preferred. Responsibilities: We design and deliver complex, scalable, and secure AI/ML solutions on AWS that are tailored to customer needs, including model selection and fine-tuning. We develop and deploy machine learning models and generative AI applications that solve real business problems, run experiments, and optimize for performance at scale. We partner with customer stakeholders to identify high-value AI/ML use cases, gather requirements, and recommend effective implementation strategies. We provide technical guidance on responsible, cost-efficient use of AI, machine learning, and generative AI, while troubleshooting throughout delivery and applying best practices. We serve as a trusted advisor on the latest AI/ML advancements, emerging technologies, and innovative ways to leverage diverse data sources for business impact. We share knowledge across the organization through mentoring, training, reusable AI/ML assets, and collaborative prototyping of new technologies and technical validation.
