Machine Learning Engineer, ProServe Delivery Team

Salary: $126000 - 126000 per year Requirements: We require a bachelors degree or higher in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM). We expect at least 3 years of experience with machine learning, statistical modeling, data analysis tools, and related techniques. We require experience in professional software engineering and best practices across the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, software architecture, code reviews, source control, continuous deployment, testing, and operational excellence. We require an active TS/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with polygraph. A masters degree or higher in STEM is preferred. Experience defining and building benchmarks to evaluate GenAI model performance is preferred. Experience working on multi-team, cross-disciplinary initiatives is preferred. Experience using quantitative analysis to address business challenges and support data-driven decisions is preferred. Responsibilities: We design and implement complex, scalable, and secure AI/ML solutions on AWS that are tailored to customer needs, including model selection and fine-tuning for specific use cases. We develop and deploy machine learning models and generative AI applications that solve real business problems, run experiments, and optimize performance at scale. We partner with customer stakeholders to identify high-value AI/ML opportunities, gather requirements, and recommend effective implementation strategies for machine learning and generative AI. We provide technical direction on responsible and cost-efficient use of AI, machine learning, and generative AI, while troubleshooting delivery challenges and upholding best practices. We serve as a trusted advisor on the latest AI/ML advancements, emerging technologies, and innovative ways to leverage diverse data sources for business impact. We share knowledge across the organization through mentoring, training, building reusable AI/ML assets, and collaborating on prototyping and technical feasibility assessments.
