Senior AWS Security Architect

Salary: $114,400 - 124,800 per year Requirements: Approximately 8 or more years of experience as a Security Architect, ideally with a progression from engineering into architecture Experience collaborating with Application, Infrastructure, and Solution Architects Strong communication skills and the ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including regulatory and compliance audiences Technical experience in application security, API security, identity and access management (IAM), network security, and hybrid cloud environments Security architecture experience on large-scale modernization or transformation programs AWS and Azure cloud security expertise Experience supporting migrations from on-premises environments to cloud platforms Background in lottery or gaming is highly preferred; casino or gaming, retail, financial services, and other large, highly regulated enterprises are also relevant Security certifications are beneficial but not required Practical problem-solving is valued more than familiarity with formal architecture frameworks Responsibilities: Participate in architecture and design reviews Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments Identify security risks early in project lifecycles Support modernization initiatives in retail technology Provide practical security guidance to project teams Collaborate with architecture groups and leadership Integrate early into projects and provide sound, risk-based architectural recommendations Help prevent late-stage security surprises and build trusted partnerships with retail technology teams Balance security requirements with business objectives Technologies: API AWS Architect Azure Cloud IAM Support Network Security More: We are hiring a Senior Security Architect for a role with a pay range of $55–$60 per hour. The position may require occasional, limited travel for workshops or architecture team meetings.
