Senior ADAS Test Engineer - Raymond

Salary: $105,000 - 145,000 per year Requirements: Bachelors degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or Controls Engineering At least 5 years of relevant industry experience Strong understanding of vehicle dynamics, steering control functions, and vehicle control system tuning Knowledge of requirements management, function validation, diagnostics, CAN structures, electrical hardware fundamentals, and software development processes Hands-on mechanical aptitude and a solid understanding of vehicle systems Ability to prepare prototype vehicles for testing, troubleshoot system issues, and recommend solutions Valid drivers license for operating vehicles on proving grounds Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, CANalyzer, CANape, and other technical software Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to proactively gather information and translate concepts into specific requirements Experience with data acquisition systems and Vector CAN tools is a plus Willingness to travel domestically and internationally to proving grounds, supplier engineering offices, production locations, and Honda factories during pre-production launches Responsibilities: Develop Advanced Driver Assist Systems (ADAS) control software functions and tune vehicle control systems Define functional software requirements for CAN interfaces, self-diagnostics, and failsafe detection for vehicle development programs Coordinate with system suppliers to integrate and verify functions in vehicles Manage project activities and schedules, including vehicle-system testing and hardware and software interface integration Instrument and troubleshoot vehicles for testing, analyze test data, recommend remedies for failures, and determine root causes Coordinate with related departments and suppliers, and research emerging technologies and market trends Prepare and present technical documents and reports, including detailed root-cause analyses when needed Coordinate ADAS development, validation, and testing, collaborating with teams in Japan, international engineering groups, and external partners to support successful system integration and quality goals Technologies: Excel Hardware Support More: At Honda, we pursue innovation and aim to support peoples potential through mobility solutions that bring joy and freedom while working toward a zero environmental footprint.
