Security Specialist

Salary: $118,700 - 118,700 per year Requirements: Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer or Software Engineering, and/or a specialization in Cybersecurity. 8–10 years of experience in Information Technology or Information Security. Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices, information technology, IAM governance tools and concepts—including privileged access management (PIM) and provisioning/deprovisioning—and the Entra suite. Power BI programming experience is an asset. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities; detail-oriented, structured, and able to work independently. Demonstrated initiative, a positive attitude, team spirit, and eagerness to learn. Ability to explain complex topics clearly to executive leadership. Commitment to training, self-directed learning, and keeping cybersecurity skills current. SC-300, CISM, or CISSP certification is an asset. Excellent spoken and written French and English communication skills; the role involves regular interaction with colleagues across Canada. Authorization to work in Canada is required. Canadian work experience is not required. Responsibilities: Establish IAM governance aligned with Partner Solutions strategy and objectives, as well as client needs. Assess technologies for user accounts, privileges, services, and identity management against organizational requirements. Conduct cost-benefit analyses of current and prospective technology solutions to inform the IAM program roadmap. Contribute to cross-functional efforts to improve identity protection. Optimize RBAC/ABAC attribute models for IT and security managed services, meeting internal and client needs at scale. Work with internal and external stakeholders to advance IAM solutions. Implement and automate processes that strengthen identity management and the security posture of a multi-client environment. Document IAM processes, architecture workflows, and best practices, and keep documentation current through periodic reviews. Apply continuous improvement practices to IAM and related processes using data-driven insights.
