Security Analyst

Salary: $80,700 - 80,700 per year Requirements: Bachelors degree in information technology or information security, or a cybersecurity specialization. Three to five years of experience in IT, information security, or data protection. Strong understanding of enterprise cybersecurity, data protection, data security, and governance tools and concepts. Knowledge of Canadian data protection laws. Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Purview and Azure Logic Apps. Strong knowledge of commonly used programming languages; Power BI programming experience is an asset. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, initiative, and prioritization skills; able to work autonomously and in a structured way. Ability to explain complex concepts clearly to a range of stakeholders, with strong teamwork, a positive attitude, and willingness to learn. Commitment to ongoing training, self-directed learning, and maintaining technical cybersecurity skills. AZ-900 and SC-401 certifications are assets. Excellent written and spoken French and English, with readiness to interact regularly with colleagues and clients across Canada. No Canadian work experience is required. Responsibilities: Help implement technical and administrative data-protection controls in line with our strategy and the objectives of Partner Solutions and its clients. Help assess data-protection technologies against the needs of our organization and clients. Take part in cross-functional efforts to improve data protection and develop governance policies in a multi-client service-delivery environment. Work with internal and external stakeholders to advance our data governance and protection practice. Implement and automate processes that strengthen data protection and improve security across a multi-client environment. Document data governance and protection processes, workflows, and best practices. Apply data-driven continuous improvement to the practice and its processes.
