SAP Security Officer Apprentice

Salary: $60000 - 83000 per year Requirements: We require a bachelors degree in a related discipline, or an additional 4 years of directly relevant experience in lieu of the degree. We require at least 1 year of broad general security experience. We expect basic knowledge of Personnel, Industrial, Physical, and Information Systems Security domains. We require the ability to travel domestically and internationally as mission needs dictate. We prefer a CISSP certification. We prefer experience with our primary cyber risk and compliance automation tools. We prefer a self-starter with strong interpersonal skills who can work across teams, organize meetings and boards, and help drive organizational change. We require an active TS/SCI clearance. Responsibilities: We support the CPSO-J across all areas of SAP security management, including personnel, physical, information, industrial, and SCI security, while managing visitor access and working directly with senior government and corporate stakeholders. We help prepare for and conduct security oversight inspections and ensure our facility remains compliant with applicable policies and directives. We provide SAP and SCI security guidance to defense contractors and assist in developing security plans and procedures to safeguard classified information. We deliver indoctrination, debrief, and refresher training to program-briefed personnel on responsibilities for protecting classified information. We support security requirements in sponsor or comparable environments, including multi-disciplined security programs for complex acquisition SAP efforts, office files, media inventories, destruction materials, secure communications, and courier duties. We conduct program indoctrinations and debriefings, including reviewing, coordinating, and tracking PARs in JADE and verifying Program Access Rosters. We collaborate across a large team to advance the security agenda, coordinate conference room meetings, and handle general clerical duties as needed. We support the sponsors system accreditation efforts by creating Body of Evidence documentation, addressing and documenting required controls, and completing assigned actions.
