Product Manager

Salary: $117000 - 163000 per year Requirements: We require a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Systems Management, Data Analytics, Engineering, Social Science, or a related discipline, plus at least 3 years of experience in product management, project management, IT consulting, product development or support, business/system analysis, or another closely related field; equivalent direct experience may substitute for the degree, and advanced education may count toward part of the experience requirement. We require at least 1 year of hands-on product management experience, including product discovery and the development of short- and long-term product strategies. We require at least 1 year of experience working with agile teams, including familiarity with scrum ceremonies and agile best practices. Responsibilities: We define product strategy and vision, then build roadmaps from concept through launch while deciding on new products or enhancements to bring to market. We evaluate potential business process changes, system impacts, and workflow concepts to determine whether requested enhancements are feasible. We maintain an end-to-end view of how business processes and internal system configurations shape the user experience. We develop business cases for new products, product improvements, and business opportunities, while managing and avoiding unnecessary technical debt. We create product enhancements based on validated insights and ensure documentation clearly reflects customer and stakeholder needs. We facilitate the product team and stakeholder groups by coordinating dependencies, resolving roadblocks, supporting adoption, and assisting with training, demos, and readiness activities. We support internal and external discovery for new and existing products by identifying needs, spotting market innovation, prototyping, and validating solutions with end users. We track outcomes and key performance indicators by monitoring metrics, reviewing dashboards, and contributing to reports, updates, and presentation materials. We collaborate with product team members to address user problems by executing the backlog for new development, non-functional needs, maintenance, support, and technical work. We contribute to competitive research, user testing, experimentation, and design thinking initiatives. We work cross-functionally, communicate progress, flag risks, and continuously look for ways to improve delivery and outcomes.
