Principal R&D Engineer

Salary: $99000 - 149000 per year Requirements: Strong background in mechanical engineering with applied scientific principles Minimum of five years of product development experience in R&D and industrial settings; experience in 3D printing is preferred Knowledge of tribology acquired through education or practical application Proficient analytical skills to interpret complex data and derive actionable insights Experience in program and project management, with capabilities in structured planning, prioritization, and execution of R&D projects Effective collaboration skills to work seamlessly with teams in manufacturing, quality, and supply chain Strong communication abilities to convey complex technical subjects clearly in test execution reports to a variety of stakeholders Responsibilities: Lead research and development projects by creating innovative products, technologies, and systems aligned with our strategic vision Investigate emerging technologies through methodical research, literature reviews, patent analysis, and experimental validation Design resilient solutions at component, subsystem, and system levels, concentrating on performance, reliability, and manufacturability Develop and implement testing protocols by designing test programs, constructing test stands, and conducting life and validation testing Analyze data and resolve issues employing simulation, experimental results, and root-cause analysis techniques Serve as a technical lead by managing risks, making informed engineering choices, and mentoring team members Technologies: 3D More: We are a global team of over 7,500 dedicated professionals striving to make an impact every day.
