Application Engineer

Salary: $87000 - 105000 per year Requirements: We are looking for a bachelors degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent professional experience of 3–4 years. We need strong analytical and problem-solving ability, with the judgment to weigh alternatives and choose the best technical path. We require the ability to interpret assembly drawings, piping schematics, and technical documentation with confidence. We value foundational knowledge of ASTM and ASME standards, pipe flange design, and steel metallurgy. We expect proficiency in CAD-based modeling, preferably in Autodesk Inventor, along with database and spreadsheet querying skills such as SQL and Excel VLOOKUP. Responsibilities: We maintain and improve a standard valve product portfolio for OEM customers. We inspect parts and prepare detailed technical reports with clear, actionable recommendations. We lead projects from launch through completion, coordinating progress and updating status in our workflow system. We troubleshoot technical issues by assessing options, recommending solutions, and carrying out decisions. We provide urgent technical assistance, including occasional travel to customer locations for critical support. We configure and optimize compressor valve equipment and related components for OEM and service customers in line with established design standards.
