Principal Program Protection Software Engineer

Salary: $101000 - 192000 per year Requirements: We require a bachelors degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics and at least 8 years of relevant experience. We need strong knowledge of modern computer architectures and hardware technologies. We require hands-on experience with the Linux operating system. We require proficiency in C/C++ programming. We value experience working in an Agile environment. We require the ability to obtain and maintain an interim Secret U.S. government security clearance. We require U.S. citizenship, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Preferred qualifications include operating system knowledge, FPGA and ASIC experience, and familiarity with extending the Linux kernel through kernel modules. Preferred experience also includes VxWorks or other real-time operating systems, cryptography, Python or Perl, Java, and alternative architectures such as MIPS, PPC, or ARM. Experience with development tools and frameworks such as Jenkins, CMake, Google Test, Google Protocol Buffers, and GCC is preferred. We prefer candidates with embedded systems experience, real-time systems experience, and multithreaded application development experience. Responsibilities: We apply modern technologies to design, implement, debug, and resolve issues in radar software applications. We develop real-time software solutions and assess the performance impact of specific security implementations. We design program protection solutions for integration into tactical radar software, keeping the broader radar system architecture in view. We develop or review detailed source-code-level solutions as needed. We support DevSecOps initiatives and ongoing continuous improvement efforts.
