Network System Engineer

Salary: $70000 - 104000 per year Requirements: We require at least 5 years of hands-on experience in messaging middleware environments. We need strong expertise in IBM MQ, which is our primary requirement. We value experience with IBM Integration Bus (IIB), Confluent Kafka, TIBCO Rendezvous (RV), and TIBCO EMS. We expect strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities in distributed systems. We require proficiency with Linux and Windows in enterprise environments. We look for experience supporting production systems with 24x7 on-call responsibilities. Preferred experience includes enterprise monitoring and middleware tools such as meshIQ Navigator, Atrium Orchestrator, Dynatrace, Splunk, and JIRA. We prefer candidates with automation and scripting experience, including Python and shell scripting. We value a strong understanding of monitoring strategies, operational metrics, and performance tuning. Responsibilities: We administer and support enterprise messaging platforms, with a primary focus on IBM MQ. We provide operational and technical support for Kafka, IIB, and TIBCO environments. We design, build, and maintain messaging infrastructure across distributed systems. We ensure the stability, reliability, and high performance of our messaging environments. We troubleshoot complex issues across Linux and Windows platforms. We participate in 24x7 production support and on-call rotations. We monitor and tune messaging platforms to achieve optimal performance. We collaborate with production support teams to resolve incidents and improve system health. This is a hybrid role with three days onsite per week. In this position, you will support enterprise-scale messaging systems in a distributed production environment, helping us maintain high availability, reliability, and performance across IBM MQ, Kafka, IIB, and TIBCO platforms.
