Lead Blockchain Protocol Engineer

Salary: $64000 - 96000 per year Requirements: We need at least 4 years of experience in Specialty Software Engineering or a closely related field, including equivalent work, training, or military experience. We need expert-level backend or systems programming skills, with strong proficiency in Go (Golang). We need a minimum of 6 months of experience working with Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC). We need more than 1 year of experience with BFT consensus algorithms, peer-to-peer networking, and distributed systems. We need a solid understanding of cryptographic protocols, consensus models, and distributed ledger technologies. Responsibilities: We architect and develop a core settlement engine using blockchain technology and cryptographic building blocks. We implement privacy-focused cryptographic techniques such as Pedersen Commitments and Bulletproofs to protect transaction confidentiality. We design and build custom consensus enhancements and state machines for distributed ledger platforms. We tune cryptographic operations for better performance and scalability in distributed environments. We create secure off-chain query layers and permissioned auditing capabilities to support regulatory needs.
