Junior Test Engineer

Salary: $62000 - 100000 per year Requirements: Demonstrable experience in designing, developing, implementing, testing, and validating technical systems and their requirements. Bachelors degree or higher from an accredited institution in engineering, mathematics, or the physical sciences. Prior software development training or experience is preferred but not mandatory. U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance. Active Interim Secret Clearance is necessary for this role. Responsibilities: Conduct research and document requirements using Jira. Develop comprehensive, step-by-step test scripts covering various scenarios, including edge and regression cases. Implement automated testing utilizing scripts on diverse servers with tools such as Cypress. Identify and log software defects in test reports. Maintain a centralized knowledge base in Confluence for testing methodologies and system documentation. Regularly communicate with team members using strong verbal and written skills.
