Junior Software Developer

Salary: $76000 - 113000 per year Requirements: We need 1 to 5 years of relevant professional experience. We require an active Secret clearance. We require U.S. citizenship to obtain and maintain clearance eligibility. We need a bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience. We require availability to work onsite in Dahlgren, Virginia. We prefer prior experience with Python and Flask. We value frontend experience with JavaScript or TypeScript and Vue. We look for familiarity with RESTful API development and data visualization tools such as Apache eCharts or AgGrid. We prefer experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL. Experience with Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, microservice-based applications, or frontend build tools such as Webpack or Vite is helpful. Responsibilities: We develop and maintain scalable web applications using Python and Flask on the backend. We design and build interactive, user-centered frontend experiences using JavaScript/TypeScript and the Vue framework. We create RESTful APIs and connect them to data visualization tools such as Apache eCharts or AgGrid. We work with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL. We provide software development support for a government customers web-based GUI replacement, supporting both frontend and backend work in a full-stack environment.
