IT Consultant V (Enterprise Architecture)

Salary: $100000 - 139000 per year Requirements: We require a bachelors degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, CIS, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience in place of the degree. We require at least eight years of experience in IT consulting, business analysis, or a closely related area. We are looking for deep expertise in enterprise architecture, product management, and business analysis. We need strong process analysis and design skills, with the ability to assess current-state capabilities and operational practices. We expect experience developing requirements for complex or specialized process or system solutions across multiple business domains. We value familiarity with multiple requirements-gathering methods and the ability to define business, functional, and non-functional needs. We seek experience building business cases that evaluate cost, benefit, ROI, and total cost of ownership. We need the ability to influence stakeholders, senior leaders, and cross-functional teams in a complex enterprise environment. Responsibilities: We lead internal products, frameworks, and tooling that support operational standards management, architecture governance, risk identification, and compliance visibility. We act as a product owner and architecture partner to turn architecture intent into practical solutions, standards, and assessment mechanisms. We analyze current-state processes and capabilities to identify risk, inconsistency, and opportunities for improvement. We develop and oversee business-specific projects, including work plans, methodologies, resource coordination, and progress tracking. We gather and document complex requirements, partnering with stakeholders and IT teams to shape solution direction. We map current-state and future-state processes and define how requirements affect upstream and downstream components. We provide guidance to senior management on integrating requirements with existing systems and business processes. We review, evaluate, and prioritize value gaps and process improvement opportunities. We influence solution design by participating in design sessions and translating requirements into workable business outcomes. We recommend additional data and services needed to resolve business issues and support process or solution design. We participate in third-party vendor evaluations when needed. We drive continuous process improvement by creating, implementing, and maintaining standardized tools, templates, and enterprise processes. We advocate for regional and national process enhancements aligned with sustainable best practices and business goals. We collaborate with architects, delivery teams, operations, and governance stakeholders to improve operability, reduce risk, and strengthen enterprise resiliency.
