IT Applications Engineer, Web

Salary: $120000 - 168000 per year Requirements: We require a bachelors degree in Computer Science, CIS, or a related discipline, plus four years of experience in software development or a similar field; equivalent work experience may be considered in place of the degree. We require at least three years of experience working on projects that involved implementing solution development life cycles (SDLC). We require at least one year in a technical leadership role, with or without direct reports. We require at least two years of experience developing and/or implementing web-based applications. We require at least two years of experience working with cloud-based technologies such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or GCP. We require at least two years of experience using web application frameworks and related technologies such as Angular, HTML5, CSS, or GraphQL. Responsibilities: We develop internet applications and software tools as a senior individual contributor. We partner with product teams to understand the product direction and help shape the product vision. We design, build, test, and support end-to-end member-facing applications and systems using cloud platforms, content management systems, and traditional integrations. We perform hands-on development for cloud applications, CMS solutions, and integration work across multiple platforms. We investigate and resolve technical issues, recommending appropriate fixes and interventions when needed. We ensure our work processes and products align with KP IT security and development standards. We complete assigned work and support business-specific initiatives by applying subject-matter expertise. We help develop work plans that meet business priorities and deadlines. We follow established procedures and policies and help ensure the team does the same. We coordinate and allocate resources to meet priorities and delivery timelines. We collaborate across functions to make effective business decisions. We solve complex problems, escalate urgent risks or issues when appropriate, and look for opportunities to improve processes and outcomes.
