IT Applications Engineer, Android

Salary: $96000 - 133000 per year Requirements: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, CIS, or a related discipline, plus four years of experience in software development or a similar field; equivalent professional experience may replace the degree requirement. At least three years of experience on projects involving software development life cycle implementation. At least one year of experience in a technical leadership capacity, with or without direct reports. At least three years of experience developing and/or deploying mobile applications. Responsibilities: We develop Android and/or iOS applications using Agile practices to deliver new customer-facing features. We partner with product management and UX teams to build engaging, intuitive client apps that enhance the user experience. We follow established mobile security standards and best practices. We contribute to the overall architecture of our mobile technology platform. We complete assigned work and support business initiatives by applying subject-matter expertise. We help develop work plans aligned with business priorities and deadlines. We ensure our team follows applicable procedures and policies. We coordinate and allocate resources to meet priorities and delivery timelines. We collaborate across functions to support sound business decisions. We solve complex problems and escalate urgent issues or risks when needed. We identify and pursue opportunities for improvement.
