About the role

Salary: $116000 - 319000 per year Requirements: Hold a B.S. degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field, or possess equivalent experience. Demonstrated experience in system integration with a keen understanding of incorporating functionalities within a larger network or mission, focusing on detail. Previously served as a Joint Interface Control Officer or have a comparable background in developing and operating joint service networks, including Link-16, JREAP-C, or other tactical data link architectures. Possess comprehensive knowledge of MILSTD 6016, Common Data Link Management System (CDLMS), Command and Control Processor (C2P), Link Monitoring and Management Tool (LMMT), and Network System Integration and Test Environment (NSITE). Willingness and ability to travel 10% - 25% of the time, including potential international travel and time aboard naval vessels or aircraft. Capability to obtain an Interim Secret level security clearance by start date and ultimately a Secret level clearance, subject to a government security clearance investigation and U.S. citizenship requirements. (Preferred) Have an M.S. degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field. (Preferred) Expertise in Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) for achieving interoperability and operational effectiveness in Tactical Data Links contributing to a Common Tactical Picture. (Preferred) Experience in writing and advocating for an Interface Change Proposal (ICP) and managing operational data flows. (Preferred) Familiarity with Global Broadcast System and Integrated Broadcast System (GBS/IBS) and/or Starlink/Starshield networks. (Preferred) Hold an active Secret government security clearance with the potential to obtain a Top Secret/SCI clearance. Responsibilities: Lead performance analysis of tactical data links and develop innovative data network capabilities for future joint warfighting initiatives. Integrate advanced functionalities into current network architectures to enhance reliability and resilience. Analyze communication system architectures and tactical data networks to identify improvements. Collaborate within a team to devise C5I architectural solutions for integrating autonomous systems into military operations. Create proposals and operational scenarios, effectively communicating them to both internal and external program leadership, including government stakeholders.
