Help Desk Specialist

Salary: $100,000 - 140,000 per year Requirements: We require a high school diploma. We require at least 2 years of directly related experience. We require an active and valid DoD 8140 IAT-II certification. We need demonstrated experience as a full-service IT support team member in a Windows Active Directory environment. We expect experience working on an IT support team and collaborating on day-to-day support activities. We need the ability to resolve IT issues and contribute solutions supporting SCIF and corporate IT operations. We require a current and active TS/SCI clearance. We require willingness to submit to a polygraph. We require the ability to remain stationary for 50% of the workday. We require the ability to move around the office as needed and regularly lift up to 50 lbs. Responsibilities: We provide analytical support for clients, systems, and networks using appropriate methods and procedures. We consult with users to understand hardware, software, and system functionality needs. We identify, prioritize, and resolve reported issues, including setting up network user accounts and configuring email. We handle help desk calls, assess the level of support needed, and route or escalate tickets to the proper tiers. We support account management, enterprise resource applications, server administration, networking, and application-related issues. We troubleshoot and resolve software, hardware, and communications problems affecting workstation systems and applications. We perform security patching, document corrective actions, gather system audit data, and continuously monitor systems, networks, and user activity. We install and test hardware and software.
