Golang / IaC Senior Lead Software Engineer

Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements: Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts, with at least five years of applied experience Practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability Advanced proficiency in at least one programming language, including Go Experience migrating complex applications to public cloud environments, including work in IaC development, SRE, or acceleration Experience leading the effective use of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools for activities such as coding, code review, testing, or troubleshooting, and setting expectations for validating AI-generated outputs for correctness, performance, and security Strong knowledge of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity, secure handling of inputs and outputs, and security and resiliency expectations; experience coaching senior engineers or leads on compliant practices and controls Advanced knowledge of software applications and technical processes, with deep expertise in one or more technical disciplines such as cloud, AI, machine learning, or mobile Ability to independently resolve design and functionality challenges with minimal oversight Background in computer science, computer engineering, mathematics, or a related technical discipline Preferred: experience with Terraform, AWS, Java, or Python Responsibilities: Design and deliver scalable, cloud-native software using modern technology stacks to create highly available, performant, and resilient products Provide technical guidance and direction to the business, technical teams, contractors, and vendors Develop secure, high-quality production code, and review and debug code written by others Lead adoption and governance of approved AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality, delivery speed, and operational outcomes; establish measurable validation standards and encourage reuse of proven patterns and automation across the software delivery lifecycle and toolchain Apply software development lifecycle tools, including approved AI-assisted development and automation capabilities, to increase the value of automation at scale Shape product design, application functionality, and technical operations and processes Serve as a subject matter expert across the function in one or more areas Contribute to the engineering community by advocating for firmwide frameworks, tools, and software development lifecycle practices Influence peers and project decision-makers to consider leading-edge technologies Help foster a team culture grounded in diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect Technologies: AI AWS Cloud Golang Support Java Machine Learning Mobile Security Terraform Python More: We are hiring a Golang / IaC Senior Lead Software Engineer for our Consumer and Community Banking organization at JPMorganChase, in collaboration with hackajob.
