AI Native Software Engineer

Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements: Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts, plus 3+ years of applied experience Hands-on background in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability Experience developing, debugging, and supporting code in a large corporate environment using modern languages such as Java and Python, along with SQL Practical experience with enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools, including using them for coding, test creation, troubleshooting, or documentation, and validating their output for correctness, performance, and security Understanding of responsible AI usage in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity, secure handling of inputs and outputs, and resiliency and security expectations Strong knowledge of the software development life cycle Solid grasp of agile practices, including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security Hands-on experience deploying and operating services such as EC2, Lambda, ECS/EKS, S3, EBE, RDS, DynamoDB, VPC, and API Gateway Strong database skills, including query tuning, schema understanding, and performance optimization, with experience in Aurora/PostgreSQL Hands-on experience with messaging, data streaming, and event processing using Kafka or Amazon Kinesis/MSK/SQS/SNS Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation Familiarity with modern front-end technologies such as React AWS certifications such as Developer, Solutions Architect, ML Engineer, AI Developer, DevOps Engineer, or CloudOps Engineer are preferred Responsibilities: Execute software solutions, design work, development, and technical troubleshooting, using creative approaches beyond routine methods to solve technical problems Build secure, high-quality production code and maintain algorithms that operate synchronously with appropriate systems Use enterprise-authorized AI coding tools to improve code quality, delivery speed, and productivity across complex work, while reviewing and refining outputs through peer review, testing, and secure coding standards Apply knowledge of SDLC toolchains, including enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development and automation capabilities, to increase the value delivered by automation Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensure design constraints are met through the software code that is developed Gather, analyze, synthesize, and visualize data from large and varied datasets to support continuous improvement of software applications and systems Identify hidden issues and patterns in data and use those insights to improve coding hygiene and system architecture Technologies: AI API AWS Lambda Architect CI/CD DevOps EC2 Support Java Kafka Network PostgreSQL Python React SQL Security Terraform Cloud More: We are collaborating with hackajob to connect with exceptional professionals for this opportunity.
