Gen AI Engineer

Salary: $68000 - 113000 per year Requirements: Strong proficiency in Python and generative AI development Hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, LangChain, LangGraph, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) Experience integrating OpenAI or Azure OpenAI, with exposure to Claude, Gemini, or Llama models preferred Practical knowledge of vector databases and semantic retrieval tools such as Pinecone, Weaviate, ChromaDB, or FAISS Experience building REST APIs, microservices, and cloud-based applications Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform Understanding of MLOps, AI model deployment, Docker, Kubernetes, fine-tuning, and model optimization is preferred Experience with multi-agent systems is a plus Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or a related discipline Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, communication skills, and a collaborative mindset Responsibilities: Design, build, and deploy generative AI applications powered by Large Language Models Develop and refine Retrieval-Augmented Generation solutions Create AI agents and conversational AI experiences Integrate enterprise applications with OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, or Llama models Implement vector search and semantic retrieval capabilities Build and support scalable APIs and microservices Partner with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver solutions Monitor, tune, and release AI systems in cloud environments Apply AI security, governance, and best practices across solutions Technologies: AI AWS Azure CI/CD Cloud Docker Git Support Kubernetes Python REST Security microservices More: We are hiring a Gen AI Engineer for a 12+ month contract opportunity, with locations available in Florida, Miami; Georgia, Atlanta; North Carolina, Durham; Virginia, Richmond; and Pennsylvania, Pittsburgh.
