About the role
Salary: $147000 - 200000 per year Requirements: Bachelors degree plus 8 years of information technology experience, including application development, support, and management, or a high school diploma/GED plus 12 years of IT experience in those areas. 10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience with accountability for enterprise applications and technology delivery. Experience leading technology teams that support lending, credit administration, commercial banking, risk management, or related financial services functions. Demonstrated success managing large-scale technology portfolios, budgets, and strategic programs. Strong knowledge of software development, enterprise architecture, application integration, and data management practices. Experience working with executive stakeholders and influencing strategic decisions. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Preferred: experience supporting credit administration, commercial lending, loan operations, or credit risk functions. Preferred: knowledge of banking regulatory requirements and control frameworks. Preferred: experience with cloud platforms, especially Azure, APIs, microservices, and modern engineering practices. Preferred: experience leading technology modernization and digital transformation initiatives. Responsibilities: Define and execute the technology strategy and roadmap for our Credit Administration platforms and capabilities. Align technology investments with business goals, regulatory expectations, and enterprise architecture standards. Serve as the primary technology leader and trusted advisor for Credit Administration stakeholders. Champion modernization, automation, and continuous improvement across our credit technology environment. Oversee delivery of technology initiatives that support workflow management, collateral management, covenant monitoring, document management, servicing, and reporting. Manage our technology portfolio, budgets, resource planning, and prioritization efforts. Ensure programs and projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and tied to business results. Establish and track KPIs, service levels, and operational performance measures. Build collaborative relationships with Credit Administration, Credit Risk, Operations, Compliance, and Audit teams. Work with business leaders to improve efficiency, control effectiveness, and customer experience. Convert business strategy and regulatory requirements into actionable technology plans. Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams. Oversee the application portfolio supporting Credit Administration functions. Ensure our platforms are reliable, secure, scalable, and well supported. Lead vendor management activities, including product evaluation, contract negotiation, and strategic partnerships. Promote adoption of modern technologies, cloud services, APIs, and automation capabilities. Ensure solutions meet regulatory, security, audit, and risk management requirements. Establish governance for architecture, change management, and operational controls. Partner with Information Security, Risk, and Internal Audit to address findings and proactively manage technology risks. Maintain business continuity, disaster recovery, and resiliency plans for critical applications. Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of managers, architects, engineers, analysts, and delivery professionals. Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning. Support hiring, succession planning, and career development initiatives. Promote engineering excellence and best practices across our teams.
