DevOps Architect

Salary: $147000 - 156000 per year Requirements: We are looking for a seasoned DevOps or platform engineering professional with 10+ years of experience. We need deep hands-on expertise with AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeArtifact, ECR, Lambda, SSM, and IAM. We require strong knowledge of Jenkins pipeline architecture, shared libraries, and the plugin ecosystem. We expect experience with GitHub Enterprise Server and GitHub Cloud, including SSO, SCIM, and identity provider integration. We value familiarity with JFrog Artifactory and Xray repository administration and package type management. We want proven success migrating Jenkins to AWS CodePipeline in large enterprise environments. We need excellent presentation skills and the ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders. We prefer experience in regulated environments such as FINRA or NYDFS. AWS certifications such as Solutions Architect Professional or DevOps Engineer are a plus. Kubernetes or EKS experience is desirable. CloudBees CI enterprise experience is also beneficial. A bachelors degree is preferred. Responsibilities: We will rely on you to lead discovery across GitHub, Jenkins, and JFrog workstreams. You will shape the future-state AWS-native architecture using CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeArtifact, and ECR. You will compare Fleet and self-hosted EC2 runner options for Windows agents. You will evaluate GitHub Actions versus CodePipeline and document the advantages and tradeoffs. You will lead proof-of-concept efforts for Active Choices with Lambda and Parameter Store, as well as File Manager. You will map JFrog package types to the packages supported by CodeArtifact. You will define the Separation of Duties model through IAM for CodePipeline. You will present final discovery findings to stakeholders. You will create the migration roadmap, including timelines, milestones, and risk tracking. You will prepare a cost comparison between AWS-native tooling and the current platform.
