Desktop Support Engineer

Desktop Support Engineer Job Summary We are seeking a Desktop Support Engineer to provide technical support and assistance to end users. The ideal candidate should have experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Provide first-level and second-level technical support to end users. Troubleshoot and resolve desktop, laptop, printer, and peripheral issues. Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software applications, and hardware devices. Manage user accounts and access permissions through Active Directory. Support and maintain DNS, DHCP, Group Policies (GPO), antivirus solutions, and patch management processes. Document incidents, service requests, and resolutions in the ticketing system. Escalate complex issues to appropriate teams when necessary. Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and best practices. Qualifications Minimum of 2+ years of experience in Desktop Support or End User Support. Proven experience in End User Support and troubleshooting desktop-related issues. Basic knowledge of: Windows Active Directory DNS DHCP Group Policy Objects (GPO) Antivirus Management Patch Management Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexible to work in a 24/7 support environment. Preferred Skills Knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) tools and ticketing systems. Familiarity with Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 applications. Basic networking knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
