Data Center Technician, InfraOps Tech

Salary: $78000 - 138000 per year Requirements: We require a high school diploma or equivalent, or an A+, CND (Certified Network Defender), Network+, or Security+ certification. We require an active U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility or higher. Preferred qualifications include familiarity with hardware platforms. Preferred qualifications include 1+ years of computer networking experience. Preferred qualifications include a bachelors degree in an IT-related field such as Computer Science or Network Engineering, or equivalent professional or military IT experience. Responsibilities: We troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues, escalating only the most complex cases to the appropriate resolver groups. We act as a primary point of resolution for our support team. We maintain documentation for the technologies we support and communicate standard operating procedures to junior staff. We understand the equipment we support in depth and make sound decisions independently while also following direction when needed. We handle small projects on our own and partner with our manager to plan and deliver larger local initiatives. We serve as an escalation contact for junior technicians. We may work rotating shifts across 3, 4, or 5 day/night schedules depending on business needs. We may travel up to 10% of the time. We support one of multiple separate sites.
