Data Center Project Architect

Salary: $119000 - 119000 per year Requirements: Minimum of 3 years in data center or mission-critical facilities, such as hospitals or military installations, or 3 years in data center engineering NCARB recognized architecture license Over 7 years of design experience in commercial, industrial, or other complex technical projects At least 4 years of experience managing sub-consultants and project teams Expertise in building codes, regulations, and standards including IBC or equivalent Responsibilities: Communicate conceptual designs and maintain project documentation throughout all phases of construction Manage the Basis of Design, prototype designs, and template specifications for architectural components Review and provide insights on design RFPs Oversee external design consultants during the design and construction phases Collaborate with internal and external design engineers across Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Controls, and Cabling disciplines Clearly convey design standards to both internal and external project stakeholders Juggle multiple high-paced projects simultaneously Innovate cost-effective solutions during the construction process without compromising quality or reliability Travel for site evaluations, internal design discussions, construction reviews, and to interface with design consultants, with travel expectations not exceeding 25% Technologies: AWS Architect Cloud Hardware Security Web Support Network More: At Amazon Web Services (AWS), we are dedicated to designing, constructing, and operating Data Centers globally, leading the way in cloud-computing infrastructure.
