Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements: We require formal training or certification in software engineering concepts along with 2+ years of applied experience. We require U.S. citizenship. We need hands-on experience in QA automation, SDET, or test engineering. We need strong programming skills in at least one of the following: Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, or Java, with the ability to design and maintain frameworks and debug effectively. We need practical experience with UI automation and backend/API automation, with emphasis on quality and maintainability. We expect solid knowledge of testing practices, including functional, regression, negative testing, and test design, plus strong QA fundamentals. We require working knowledge of databases and SQL for validating and verifying test data. We need hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools in the work environment, with the ability to assess, validate, and refine AI-generated output for correctness, performance, and security. We expect understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity, secure input/output handling, and resiliency and security expectations. We require exposure to agile practices such as CI/CD, application resiliency, and security. Preferred experience includes Playwright and/or Selenium. Preferred exposure to performance testing tools such as JMeter or similar. Preferred cloud experience, such as AWS, and experience scaling test execution through parallelization and containers. Preferred track record of improving pipeline reliability, reducing flaky tests, strengthening test data strategy, and improving observability and metrics. Responsibilities: We execute software solutions through design, development, and technical troubleshooting, using creative approaches to solve complex technical problems. We use enterprise-authorized AI coding tools to improve code quality, delivery speed, and productivity across complex work, while validating results through peer review, automated testing, and secure coding standards. We apply tools from the software development life cycle toolchain, including AI-assisted development and automation capabilities, to increase the value delivered through automation. We create secure, high-quality production code and maintain synchronous algorithms. We produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensure software code aligns with design constraints. We gather, analyze, synthesize, and visualize large and varied data sets to support continuous improvement of software applications and systems. We identify hidden issues and patterns in data to improve coding hygiene and system architecture.
