Applied AI Analyst

Salary: $100,000 - 140,000 per year Requirements: Bachelors degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field, plus at least 5 years of experience in advanced analytics or AI; alternatively, a masters degree with at least 3 years, a PhD with at least 1 year, an associates degree with at least 7 years, or a high school diploma with at least 9 years of relevant experience. Demonstrated experience analyzing, testing, and evaluating applied AI/ML models or automated decision-support solutions. Proficiency in data manipulation and analytical programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL. Experience developing, maintaining, and communicating technical documentation and analytical findings. Strong understanding of data visualization, quality assurance, and workflow integration for complex datasets. Relevant certifications in artificial intelligence, data analytics, or cloud architecture are preferred. Experience supporting U.S. Military Command operations or Department of Defense enterprise data environments is preferred. Familiarity with natural language processing, computer vision, or automated workflow orchestration platforms is preferred. Experience in collaborative DevSecOps or MLOps environments is preferred. Must hold an active Secret security clearance. Must be able to remain stationary for 50% of the time, occasionally move around the office to access equipment or files, and frequently communicate with colleagues, management, and customers, including delivering presentations and exchanging accurate information. Responsibilities: Evaluate and validate applied AI models and machine learning pipelines for technical performance and accuracy. Analyze complex datasets to identify useful insights, patterns, and trends that support customer mission requirements. Work with cross-functional teams, data engineers, and stakeholders to define operational requirements and analytical workflows. Monitor, test, and document performance across deployed AI models and analytical platforms. Maintain baseline configurations, test documentation, and data artifact libraries for AI capabilities. Recommend and implement process and methodology improvements to optimize analytical workflows.
