Application Penetration Testing Manager

Salary: $115000 - 271000 per year Requirements: We require at least five years of recent experience using application penetration testing tools such as AppScan, Netsparker, Acunetix, ZAP, Veracode, BurpSuite, or similar. We require at least five years of recent experience working with both technical and non-technical audiences to communicate results and lead remediation discussions. We require at least five years of recent experience leading application security testing teams in a consulting setting. We require a bachelors degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent industry experience. We prefer one or more ethical hacking certifications, such as CISSP, GWAPT, CREST, OSWE, or OSWA. We prefer experience in areas such as mobile application testing, code development, manual code review, or static analysis using tools such as Veracode, Fortify, SonarQube, Checkmarx, Contrast, or equivalent. We require the ability to travel as needed. We require authorization to work in the U.S. without current or future employment-based visa sponsorship. Responsibilities: We provide strategic direction to application penetration testing teams, support service growth, and manage client engagements while demonstrating strong manual penetration testing expertise. We lead client engagements and offer technical guidance and direction to team members working on application penetration testing assignments. We encourage thought leadership and help drive learning and development across the team. We communicate testing methods and results to non-technical stakeholders and advise technical audiences on remediation options. We partner with Cyber teams to develop new testing methods, automation, and marketing materials, while mentoring onshore and offshore colleagues on tools and techniques. We act as a mentor and people leader to support career development and maintain a respectful, professional workplace with integrity and accountability.
