Analysis Lead Engineer

Salary: $80000 - 128000 per year Requirements: We require experience modeling one or more critical mission areas, such as missile warning, missile tracking, missile defense, end-to-end kill chains, or communications systems and networks. We need hands-on experience with AFSIM, Python, and/or STK. We require a bachelors degree in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics. We require at least 10 years of experience with satellite and ground systems. We need strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. We require an active TS clearance with SCI eligibility. Responsibilities: We lead performance analysis for the enterprise using the toolsets developed by our M&S Lead Engineer and resources available through SDA cells and partner organizations. We establish requirements based on warfighter input. We verify enterprise-level requirements through analysis. We validate system performance using developmental and operational testing results. We perform rapid-turn analyses to support external engagements and the front office. We provide input and prioritization for needed updates to the M&S toolset. We manage a distributed team across multiple organizations. We translate modeling and simulation results into actionable decision briefings for senior leadership.
