About the role

Support large-scale financial platforms, ensuring high availability and troubleshooting complex issues.

Salary: $169000 - 237000 per year Requirements: We require a bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent practical experience. We look for 10+ years of overall IT experience, with substantial exposure to production support, site reliability, or DevOps roles. We need strong hands-on experience supporting large-scale, highly available financial or trading platforms with complex architectures, distributed systems, and troubleshooting challenges. We expect solid programming skills in one or more of the following: C++, Python, Node.js, or scripting languages such as Shell, Bash, or Perl. We require experience with logging and observability tools such as Coralogix or Grafana, as well as containers and orchestration tools like Docker or Portainer. We look for familiarity with messaging and streaming technologies such as Kafka, and with both relational and non-relational databases. We need excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. We require hands-on experience using AI coding and assistant tools to build or enhance software solutions. We expect practical experience applying AI to code analysis, log analysis, automation, workflow optimization, and building MCP servers and AI agents. We prefer familiarity with modern AI ecosystems such as OpenAI, Claude, and Cursor. We need the ability to critically assess AI-generated output and use it safely in production environments. We value experience creating small internal tools, scripts, or services that improve operational productivity. We prefer understanding of source control systems such as Git and collaborative development workflows. We value familiarity with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow and Jira for reviewing historical incidents. We prefer networking knowledge, including TCP/UDP, multicast, and packet analysis tools such as Wireshark. We value experience in regulated or security-conscious environments. Fixed income or bond trading domain knowledge is preferred. Exposure to AI enablement, developer productivity, or platform engineering roles is a plus. We look for a strong analytical mindset, curiosity, a structured problem-solving approach, and a delivery-focused, collaborative attitude. We expect comfort with flexible hours, including occasional evening or weekend support. Responsibilities: We analyze historical production incidents and ticket records to uncover recurring patterns, investigation paths, and operational bottlenecks. We design and build AI-assisted tools that speed up root cause identification, summarize logs and metrics, recommend likely failure domains, and support incident triage and prioritization. We partner with production support engineers to embed AI into daily workflows rather than treating it as standalone experimentation. We develop internal tools, scripts, and lightweight services that use AI models to improve support efficiency. We use AI coding assistants to prototype quickly, iterate effectively, and productionize operational tooling. We document AI-driven workflows, playbooks, and best practices for the broader support organization. We measure and report the impact of AI adoption, including reductions in MTTR, investigation time, and manual effort. We provide a very high level of availability and stability for production, demo, and test environments supporting Credit trading. We perform deep investigations into application logs, metrics, and codebases to understand system behavior and failure modes. We support monitoring, alerting, and observability platforms, including logs, dashboards, and alerts. We work closely with development and AI teams to help build new AI-related capabilities.
