Web Developer

Salary: $92,000 - 132,000 per year Requirements: Associates degree in Web Development, Computer Science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience. At least 3 years of professional experience in web design and development. At least 3 years of hands-on experience developing and maintaining web applications with Drupal, HTML5, CSS2/3, JavaScript, PHP, Python, and jQuery. Working knowledge of Node.js, Git, Chrome Developer Tools, Jenkins (CI/CD), SEO, and web marketing practices. Exposure to backend frameworks and application integration; experience with federal web standards is preferred. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accessibility and usability. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative development environment. Effective written and verbal communication skills, and willingness to stay current with web technologies and industry practices. Acquia Drupal certifications are encouraged but not required. Responsibilities: Design, develop, test, implement, maintain, and enhance front-end and back-end web applications. Plan and manage content and functionality across Internet, Intranet, Wiki, and social media platforms. Implement, migrate, integrate, and support content management systems, particularly Drupal. Maintain content, deliver enhancements, and make ongoing site improvements. Ensure applications are secure, scalable, and performant, and apply internet security principles and protocols. Apply usability principles to site architecture, navigation, knowledge management, and information delivery. Collaborate with application developers to integrate web applications and services. Use graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and GIMP to support visual and user interface needs. Test and validate applications for compliance with WCAG, Section 508, and ADA requirements. Ensure copyrighted materials are used appropriately in accordance with U.S. copyright laws.
