Salary: $77,000 - 163,000 per year Requirements: Bachelor of Science in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or a related technical field At least five years of practical experience in a technology-related environment A history of vulnerability research, including zero-day vulnerabilities or CVEs discovered and attributed to you Experience writing or using fuzzers such as AFL, LibFuzzer, ClusterFuzz, or OSS-Fuzz Experience with code analysis tools such as CodeQL, Joern, or Semgrep A record of exploiting or productizing zero-day and n-day vulnerabilities, CVEs, or other publicly disclosed vulnerabilities Experience reverse engineering malware or other code for CNE purposes, using tools such as Ghidra, IDA Pro, or Binary Ninja Experience with GDB or WinDbg debuggers Experience writing, navigating, and building C/C++ and Python code Familiarity with development tools such as VS Code, Visual Studio, Vim, or Emacs Familiarity with ARM or MIPS architectures and Linux variants Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information clearance with Full Scope Polygraph Participation in CTF competitions is a bonus Responsibilities: Use advanced systems to identify zero-day vulnerabilities Analyze, design, and identify programmatic behaviors Develop, test, and debug software applications Research data and develop new ideas for vulnerability techniques Apply knowledge of debugging and fuzzing in vulnerability research Technologies: ARM Support Linux OSS Python Visual Studio VS Code C++ Security More: We are Nightwing, an independent company headquartered in Dulles, Virginia, since 2024.
