Cloud Security Analyst

Salary: $108,000 - 148,000 per year Requirements: We require U.S. citizenship. We require an active TS/SCI clearance. You must be able to obtain Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Entry on Duty (EOD) suitability. We require 6+ years of experience in cloud security or security analysis. We need strong knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP security services. You should have experience with cloud security assessment and monitoring tools. You should understand federal cloud security requirements, including FedRAMP and NIST. We look for knowledge of cloud security frameworks and best practices. You should have experience with security monitoring and SIEM platforms. We require strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You should have experience with cloud compliance and governance. We need excellent documentation and communication skills. We require a BS in Cyber Security, Computer Science, or a related field, or a high school diploma with 7+ years of directly relevant experience. Desired certifications include DoD 8140 IAT Level III and AWS Certified Security. Preferred experience includes supporting federal cybersecurity programs. Background in malware analysis or cloud threat hunting is a plus. Experience with container security, such as Docker and Kubernetes, is preferred. Knowledge of AI/ML security considerations is desired. Experience with infrastructure-as-code security scanning is preferred. Familiarity with cloud security posture management (CSPM) tools is a plus. Understanding of multi-cloud and hybrid security architectures is desired. Responsibilities: We assess the security of cloud-based technology integration pilots. We monitor the cloud security posture for integrated capabilities. We conduct security reviews of cloud architectures and configurations. We ensure cloud deployments comply with federal security requirements. We implement cloud security controls and monitoring solutions. We support local LLM development and deployment security within controlled boundaries. We assess cloud integration risks and recommend mitigations. We monitor cloud environments for security events and anomalies. We conduct security validation testing for cloud-based pilots. We support the transition of cloud pilots into production environments. We document cloud security controls and compliance evidence. We coordinate with cloud service providers on security requirements. We support continuous monitoring and security automation in cloud environments. We ensure cloud integrations align with Zero Trust principles. We provide cloud security guidance to development and operations teams.
