Vice President, Site Reliability Engineer

Salary: $190000 - 314000 per year Requirements: We are looking for an experienced technology leader with deep site reliability engineering expertise and a strong record of guiding complex initiatives. We value hands-on knowledge in observability, automation, incident response, system resilience, capacity planning, and change management. You should be comfortable writing and maintaining scripts or code with languages such as Python, Go, Bash, or similar. You need solid experience with Linux/Unix administration, networking concepts, and troubleshooting across systems, applications, and infrastructure. Experience designing, deploying, and operating cloud-based platforms on AWS, Azure, GCP, or comparable environments is important. We expect strong understanding of DevOps practices, including CI/CD, containerization, orchestration, and reliable software delivery. You should be able to design for high availability, fault tolerance, disaster recovery, and scalable performance. We are seeking someone with IT service management knowledge covering incident, problem, and change processes. Strong leadership ability is essential, including building and developing high-performing teams, coaching talent, and managing performance. You should be able to operate effectively in ambiguous, global, and cross-functional environments while influencing stakeholders at executive level. We are looking for a strategic thinker who can set direction, remove barriers, and drive operational excellence at enterprise scale. Responsibilities: We will rely on you to define and execute our long-term site reliability engineering strategy in alignment with business objectives. You will lead initiatives that strengthen automation, incident handling, and overall system resilience across the organization. You will establish governance, standards, and best practices for reliability, capacity planning, and change management. You will drive organizational change to embed reliability and operational excellence into our culture. You will communicate plans, progress, risks, and challenges to executive leaders and key stakeholders. You will serve as a strategic bridge between business teams and technical teams to align service delivery with evolving needs. You will review service-level performance against SLAs and identify enterprise-wide improvement opportunities. You will manage teams and senior contributors, including goal setting, performance reviews, coaching, and succession planning. You will support developers early in the lifecycle with operational design, automation, monitoring, and production readiness guidance. You will handle daily operations with a strong focus on triage, root cause analysis, and blameless post-mortems. You will help shape proactive production and change management practices to improve customer experience and application value. You will promote compliance and risk mitigation across our environments while supporting continuous feedback throughout the product lifecycle.
