Lead Site Reliability Engineer

Salary: $138000 - 234000 per year Requirements: We are looking for a candidate with a bachelors degree in computer science or a closely related discipline. We need strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Framework, Python, or Go. We value solid DevOps and configuration management expertise. We require experience working with distributed systems and automation. We are seeking excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership capabilities. We prefer a strong interest in observability and ongoing service improvement. We want someone who is eager to learn and collaborate across multiple teams. Responsibilities: We ensure application health, performance, and capacity as part of operational readiness. We support pre-launch activities and help prepare services for production. We design resilient infrastructure and strengthen site reliability practices. We investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, and lead blameless post-mortems. We build automation and alerting to reduce manual effort and improve response times. We enhance service lifecycle practices and support CI/CD pipelines. We analyze platform operations and share feedback with development teams. We engage early in the software development lifecycle to improve readiness and reduce risk. We proactively manage production and change activities to protect customer experience. We mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance across the team. We uphold compliance, security, and risk-mitigation standards across our environments.
