Vice President, Product Owner

Salary: $30,000 - 55,000 per year Requirements: Bachelors degree in business, Computer Science, Finance, or a related discipline Advanced degree is preferred 5-10+ years of professional experience Strong command of project management platforms such as JIRA and Confluence, along with advanced knowledge of Scrum and Agile frameworks Preferred certifications include Safe PO/PM and AI-related credentials Technical familiarity with SQL, Bobj, and similar tools is preferred Compliance and accessibility knowledge, including Section 508, is preferred Background in loans, lending, or the mortgage industry is preferred Proven ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Self-directed with the ability to work independently, juggle multiple priorities, and stay highly organized and detail-oriented Excellent written communication skills, including experience creating user manuals, QRCs, mockups, and training materials Strong attention to detail, especially in training materials and story grooming Responsibilities: Define long-term product roadmaps, manage the backlog, and align delivery timelines with corporate KPIs while identifying opportunities for AI and automation Gather, analyze, and translate highly complex enterprise needs into actionable functional specifications Assess legacy and internal workflows, pinpoint operational gaps, and design improved target operating models using new technologies Produce clear, high-quality documentation and structured training materials to support user adoption and operational readiness Act as the strategic bridge between clients, Operations, and Engineering teams Promote strong Agile/Scrum practices, including story quality, precise acceptance criteria, and efficient development throughput Drive the vision, architecture, and execution of our core product ecosystem Collaborate with business stakeholders and engineering teams to advance agile best practices and maximize business value Technologies: AI Confluence Support JIRA Product Owner SQL More: We are collaborating with hackajob and BNY to find an exceptional future team member for the Vice President, POM Product Owner role in New York, NY.
