Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer

Salary: $34000 - 62000 per year Requirements: Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 10+ years of hands-on SQL development experience, with strong expertise in query tuning, indexing, partitioning, and data modeling. 5+ years working with the Eagle platform, including RDC, Uploader, and Message Center. Deep understanding of Eagle database structures and data model design, with the ability to align business needs to Eagle schemas. Solid grounding in fund accounting, especially security reference data such as security master attributes, pricing, classifications, and identifiers. Advanced Oracle PL/SQL skills, including development, debugging, and performance optimization of large stored procedures and packages in high-throughput environments. Experience with Agile delivery practices and proficiency in Jira, Git, and Confluence. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities, with the capability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience in root-cause analysis and incident remediation, with a focus on improving resilience through tuning, indexing, and partitioning strategies. Ability to establish development standards, perform code reviews, and maintain documentation in Confluence and version control. Experience working in Agile teams for backlog management, sprint planning, delivery tracking, and continuous process improvement. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional partners to embed regulatory, audit, and operational needs into solution design. Responsibilities: Design, build, and support database solutions for security reference data, corporate action entitlement and processing, and related fund accounting requirements. Develop, troubleshoot, and tune complex Oracle PL/SQL stored procedures, packages, and functions for mission-critical, high-volume workloads. Model and maintain Eagle database tables in alignment with the Eagle data model and downstream usage patterns. Create scalable data ingestion and transformation pipelines across Eagle RDC and Eagle Automation Center, including monitoring, alerting, and recovery capabilities. Work closely with business and operations teams to interpret security master and corporate action needs and convert them into technical designs and data workflows. Apply data quality controls, lineage tracking, and governance practices within financial data environments. Incorporate corporate action impacts, such as dividends, splits, mergers, and optional events, into positions, NAV, and reporting logic. Integrate pricing vendors and market data feeds into Eagle reference data processes. Support CI/CD practices for database code, including automated testing, code promotion, and schema management. Diagnose performance issues using Oracle tools and execution plans, and drive remediation for production incidents. Maintain development standards, documentation, and code review practices across the team. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure regulatory, audit, and operational requirements are reflected in solution design. Mentor and help lead small technical teams or initiatives.
