Tooling Engineer and Technical Leader

Salary: $125000 - 125000 per year Requirements: 1+ years of experience; 3+ years is preferred. Proven experience in designing progressive stamping dies. Proficiency in 3D design. Ability to create strip layouts, develop station sequencing, and craft high-quality progressive tooling. Experience collaborating with toolmakers and production teams. Strong mechanical creativity and analytical problem-solving skills. U.S. Citizenship (ITAR compliance). Responsibilities: Lead the development of progressive stamping die designs from concept to completion. Create comprehensive strip layouts, determine forming stations, timing, and die components. Develop robust, manufacturable designs adhering to precise tolerance standards. Collaborate with toolmakers, machinists, and pressroom personnel during die build, trial, and troubleshooting. Assist in technical quoting and early-stage design evaluations. Address customer technical inquiries directly. Mentor colleagues and shape future design standards. Engage in long-term succession strategies, including potential equity ownership discussions.
