Fleet Support Engineer

Salary: $139000 - 149000 per year Requirements: At least 4 years of experience in automotive, consumer electronics, or autonomous vehicle systems, with a focus on infotainment, display technologies, or cockpit electronics. Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline. Proficiency in troubleshooting communication protocols such as LVDS, Ethernet, CAN, and LIN. Knowledge of display technologies (LCD/OLED), touch controllers, and audio amplifiers. Ability to read and interpret schematics, electrical diagrams, and connector pinouts for diagnosing wiring and component issues. Responsibilities: Act as the primary technical point of contact for real-time issues related to HMI systems, including passenger displays, audio/visual alerts, interior cameras, and cabin interaction modules. Conduct root cause analysis through log reviews (Linux/Android logs) and electrical diagnostics to address complex hardware and software failures. Lead efforts to monitor trends by analyzing fleet data to identify failure patterns and implement long-lasting corrective measures. Create and maintain troubleshooting guides to empower field technicians to resolve issues autonomously. Execute hardware validation and functional testing for new HMI components and firmware updates, ensuring system reliability and performance.
