Technical Program & Project Management Specialist

Salary: $72,000 - 112,000 per year Requirements: Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. At least 3 years of experience managing SAP projects, including implementation, upgrade, or support work, and 6 years of experience in IT. At least 3 years of program management experience. Expert-level, daily hands-on JIRA experience, including board configuration, workflow automation, JQL queries, dashboard creation, and Confluence integration. Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum and Waterfall or hybrid delivery frameworks. Experience with project management, release management, JIRA, Agile software development, and SAP ERP. Strong stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to manage concurrent projects and competing priorities. Preferred: PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, or SAFe certification. Preferred: SAP Activate or certification in a relevant SAP module. Preferred: Experience with Power BI, Power Automate, JIRA Align, JIRA Service Management, Confluence, or other Atlassian tools. Preferred: Automotive or manufacturing industry experience and familiarity with ServiceNow or other ITSM/change management tools. Detail-oriented, data-driven approach to JIRA organization, project artifacts, reporting, and status communication. Strong servant-leadership skills, including the ability to motivate cross-functional, matrixed teams and work effectively in fast-paced, evolving enterprise environments. Responsibilities: Support governance for large-scale SAP S/4HANA programs, lead tactical activities, and advance strategic program objectives. Manage JIRA epics, sub-epics, features, backlogs, user stories, tasks, subtasks, workflows, boards, dashboards, and custom fields. Assess and help resolve issues, risks, and opportunities; track scope changes and administer change-control processes. Maintain program-level CRAID logs covering change requests, risks, assumptions, issues, and decisions. Gather and review metrics for major and production releases. Support quarterly Program Increment (PI) planning by preparing product teams and coordinating logistics, breakout sessions, presentations, and workshops. Manage integration points between ERP modules and legacy or third-party systems. Consolidate product-line iteration reviews into product-group reviews and retrospectives. Coordinate product-team activities and track scope, timelines, and release management. Coordinate release work, including cutover, testing cycles, training programs, and data readiness. Resolve dependencies with product managers and foundational product teams, and bring blockers to the appropriate governance forums. Facilitate lessons learned and transition projects to steady-state support and operations. Lead SAP implementations, upgrades, rollouts, support enhancements, S/4HANA migrations, module deployments, and integration initiatives from start to finish. Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, resource allocations, budgets, and risk registers. Manage project governance, including status reports, steering committee updates, RAID logs, and change management. Improve project management practices, JIRA usage standards, and reporting templates.
