Systems Engineer Execution

Salary: $108,924.8 - 163,388.8 per year Requirements: We require a bachelors degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited university and 5 years of related experience for Level 3, or a masters degree with 3 years of related experience, or a PhD with 1 year of related experience. For Level 4, we require a bachelors degree in a STEM field and 8 years of relevant experience, or a masters degree with 6 years of related experience, or a PhD with 4 years of related experience. We require experience across the software development life cycle, including design requirements, application development, integration, testing, or deployment. We require experience with requirements decomposition and requirements management. We require experience in software architecture and design. We require experience developing and verifying requirements. We require experience using requirements management tools such as DOORS. We prefer familiarity with Agile development tools and practices, including Jira, Confluence, Fisheye/Crucible, and Bitbucket. We require strong communication skills. We require the ability to think critically and clearly capture ideas in deliverables, presentations, and discussions. We require the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. We require an active, in-scope U.S. Government DoD Secret clearance at the time of application, and it must be in place to start. We require the ability and willingness to travel up to 10% of the time. We require the ability to work full-time in an on-site, closed-area environment. We prefer a degree in Systems Engineering. We prefer experience with risk analysis and risk management. We prefer experience in Agile/Scrum leadership roles such as Scrum Master or Product Owner. We prefer demonstrated success in independent planning, organization, and cross-functional collaboration with a customer-focused approach. We prefer knowledge of the GMD domain. Responsibilities: We support the GWS Execution Team in a flexible, multi-build environment. We work closely with Build Leads to drive roadmap execution and provide technical build support. We create Technical Review Packages. We facilitate and participate in design reviews. We perform analysis and impact assessments for specification updates and releases. We contribute to the Engineering Review Board. We coordinate with stakeholders to support smooth program execution. We combine hands-on engineering work with cross-functional collaboration to deliver high-quality results.
