Software Engineer

Salary: $112000 - 168000 per year Requirements: We require 2 years of relevant experience with a bachelors degree, or 0 years with a masters degree; we may also consider an additional 4 years of experience in place of a degree. We require an active SSBI at the time of application and the ability to obtain SCI before starting. We are looking for advanced object-oriented programming expertise. We require experience with C++ development. We require knowledge of the Red Hat Enterprise Linux operating system. We prefer DevSecOps test automation experience. We prefer experience with programming and scripting languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, and Perl. We prefer strong math and algorithm skills. We prefer excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the confidence to work with employees, leadership, and stakeholders at all levels. We prefer prior participation on an Agile Scrum team or familiarity with Agile methods. We prefer familiarity with the Atlassian tool suite, including Confluence, Jira, Bitbucket, and Bamboo. We prefer experience developing in a Linux environment using Git. We prefer proven problem-solving and decision-making skills. We prefer an active TS/SCI security clearance. Responsibilities: We will have you support a large team made up of multiple subsystems, each with a specialized software focus, across both development and operations and maintenance activities. You will help develop and sustain several mission operational software product lines. You will also contribute to new capability development in coordination with our restricted SCI customer.
